Infrastructure and Device Management

For Institutions

Our Approach

Configuration and Deployment

Deploying a device management  solution allows administrators to securely and remotely configure enrolled devices. For a successful implementation of learnings that took place during a digital Professional development  programme we have designed the Creative Service Support engagement to help the teachers to implement and experience the 21st century teaching and learning. Teachers will be supported for a one to many scenario where Teacher is having an iPad and students in the class may not have a iPad or a digital device. Henceforth, we as a team will be there you to help and achieve the digital learning framework by our extended support in every phase like;

The first step in any deployment by considering your existing environment. This phase includes preparing your network and setting up the systems needed to deploy successfully.

Setting up your deployment has never been easier. This phase involves enrolling in Apple School Manager and linking your mobile device management (MDM) solution.

Activate device with Apple School Manager, deploy apps and distribute devices to teachers in the classroom.

In this phase, the digital tool with right apps and activities in place help manage workflow with the students. Administrators also play a role deploying apps and contents throughout the school year.

Shared iPads

Shared iPad enables schools to share devices among students, while still providing a personalised experience. Before class begins, teachers can assign any student any shared iPad. Students know which devices to use because their pictures are on the Lock screens, and they can access their personal content using a password or easy-to-remember four-digit PIN.

Innovative schools use technology to support learning experiences that are active, personal, collaborative, and relevant. These experiences are designed to empower learners to be creators who believe their work matters.

Innovative schools use technology to inspire a growth mindset in teachers and support their work as learning experience designers.

Mac Lab

Mac Lab

The lab aims to equip the students in various domains like presentations, videos editing and app development. it also helps students to generate ideas and convert them into innovation. It also imparts the students with knowledge on Apple technologies and give them a hands-on experience on the incredibly powerful Mac OS X operating system.

The vast variety of applications of Apple will foster their creativity and provide a platform for students to come up with ground-breaking projects.

Mac is considered to be the superior choice by majority of media professionals. Graph-ics designing, animation, video/audio editing are few of the many areas where Apple remains un-paralleled. Power apps of Apple like Final Cut Pro, Mainstage, Logic, Aperture, iMovie, Garageband are tailored to meet the high demands of this rapidly-evolving field.

Apple is loaded with applications that highly aids the teaching-learning process like iBook Author, iTunesU, Screenflow etc., iTunesU is a free content repository, content management, and distribution service provided by Apple that allows faculty to build and distribute online course content (audio, video, and documents) using the Apple iTunes store.

Podcast Centre

The Recording Studio is fitted with equipment for audio and video recording. It is available for faculty and students who would like to use it for a Yale class or class-related activities.

A Podcast Center staff member will be available to demonstrate how to use the technology in the room before the first class session or class assignment. We encourage faculty to use this space for trying out and getting comfortable with incorporating new technology in their pedagogy.

With 2 Spotlight floor lamps and multiple adjustable ceiling lights to provide ideal light for diverse studio recordings.

Yeti Blue USB Microphone which helps create impeccable, studio-quality recordings with intuitive and easy steps. The four different pattern modes provide flexibility to record a bevy of diverse recordings like podcast, interviews, audio for videos, vocals, etc.

Soundproofing acoustic foam is built in the side walls. It reduces echoes and background noise by absorbing the reverberations sound can make by bouncing off the walls.

WIFI networks

WIFI coverage & capacity

Many school Wi-Fi networks were originally deployed with the intention to provide coverage in specified classrooms or learning spaces. In an institution-owned one-to-one deployment, every user will be using an iOS device regularly before, during, and after class time. And if users have multiple devices, such as Mac, iPad, and iPhone, more than one device per student may be on the Wi-Fi network.

Plan and provide the necessary network infrastructure to support every student working on their devices throughout the institution’s physical site. One should build Wi-Fi networks not just for coverage in relevant areas, but also with the capacity to support a high density of devices in each space.

Mobile Device Management

We can securely enrol or register your devices with a mobile device management (MDM) solution. This allows you to wirelessly configure and update settings, monitor compliance with your institution policies, deploy apps and remotely wipe or lock managed devices.

What does MDM do?

MDM enables institutions to securely enrol devices in an education environment, wirelessly configure and update settings, monitor institution policy compliance, deploy apps and books, and remotely wipe or lock managed devices.
An MDM solution is required for an institution-owned one-to-one deployment because of its integration with the Apple Deployment Program services. For example, MDM solutions can be integrated with VPP Managed Distribution, enabling your organization to purchase apps and books in volume and assign them to users or groups at scale.

Apple School Manager

Apple School Manager is a simple, web-based portal that helps IT administrators deploy iPad and Mac in schools. You can easily provide students and staff with access to Apple services, set up devices, get apps and books, and enable teachers with tools to create engaging learning experiences — all from one place.

What does ASM do?

Apple School Manager is a web-based portal to deploy iOS, macOS, and tvOS devices all from one place. When used with your mobile device management (MDM) solution, you can configure device settings and buy and distribute apps and books.

With ASM in place, we create managed accounts for your staff with the school domain that offers 200GB of cloud storage. We will be there throughout the process from obtaining an ID for ASM and streamline the process of generating accounts, Distributing Apps, and managing them. Then, the  students and staff members can use their existing Microsoft account credentials to log in to iPad, Mac, iCloud, and Schoolwork.

A firewall is a security device — computer hardware or software — that can help protect your network by filtering traffic and blocking outsiders from gaining unauthorized access to the private data on your computer. Firewalls prevent unauthorized internet users from accessing private networks connected to the internet, especially intranets.

What does Firewall do?

Firewalls can provide different levels of protection. They key is determining how much protection you need.

Not only does a firewall block unwanted traffic, it can also help block malicious software from infecting your computer.

A firewall acts as a gatekeeper. It monitors attempts to gain access to your operating system and blocks unwanted traffic or unrecognized sources.
